In this two-semester endeavor, UNO students enrolled in the BIOL 1330 class will work together with students from Walnut Creek Elementary to create a Pollinator Garden. The primary goal of this project is to raise awareness about the importance of pollinators in our ecosystem and to actively contribute to their conservation efforts. Nonprofits coordinate meaningful work for interns to benefit the student experience in different ways. Students typically intern during the fall and spring semesters and may serve the same organization for more than one academic year. Each unique student that works as a Collaborative intern with this specific community partner is identified within this project.
