Description : Community Partner Project Name: Linguistic Justice and Latino Health WhatMakesUs Project Destigmatize/demystify mental health in Latino and Black/African American community by having students interview a friend, relative, or any individual that fits criteria. The hope is to get recommendations from the students as a result of their data collection regarding how to better connect to the Latino community through their interviews. UNO students worked with The Wellbeing Partners to learn more about stigma and language in the Latino community. Students conducted interviews in Spanish and shared their results.
