Description : Joshua Kearney led a project to commission Omaha composer Keith Michael Davis to compose a work for a band ensemble to be played over conferencing software, in person, and/or both simultaneously. The project resulted in the piece "Hive" which has been programmed by ensembles across the United States.

Description : Joshua Kearney served as an adjudicator/clinician for the Schuyler Central High School marching band's internal festival. The even was open only to Schuyler Central as a way for the students to have a marching band "performance" during Covid-19
