Description : UNO’s Cellular and Molecular Neuro-biology class and King Science Health Care Academy will partner with MS Forward Gym to understand the role of genetics in health. Students will engage with and support MS Forward clients while learning key concepts and gaining hands-on health career experience. UNO and King Science students will also reflect on their experiences throughout the semester.

Description : Dancers from UNO’s The Moving Company will be collaborating with Beveridge Middle School and Omaha South High School dance companies on a performance for the ten year anniversary of CultureFest. The choreography by UNO’s Danielle Laurion is inspired by cultures around the world with movement representing water, wind, and other elements of nature. The collaboration provides an opportunity for the middle school, high school, and university dancers to connect with each other and showcase their talents at the CultureFest event.

Description : The intern worked with the organization’s data to create internal scoring metrics to be used to rate the performance of the programs at the site. Through this project, the intern learned how to apply data analysis techniques to real data.
