Description : Freshmen from Stu Bernstein’s ENGR 1000 (Interpersonal Skills for Engineering Leaders) will teach topics related to their coursework to 4th and 5th grade students from Field Club Elementary School. On Wednesdays of each week, UNO students will listen to a lecture on a specific topic. On Mondays, UNO students will practice their activity for Field Club Elementary students. Katie (the Completely Kids Program Coordinator) and Brittany (the SLA GA) attend class on Mondays to provide feedback to UNO students on their presentations. Description : MUS 2740.015/8160.007: CHAMBER MUSIC, undergraduate students will have the opportunity to engage in a service learning project encompassing interdisciplinary collaboration with Lewis & Clark Middle School and Nathan Hale Middle School students. This service learning project has UNO students perform a dress rehearsal for the P-12 students in preparation for their main chamber event coming up in April. This gives Lewis & Clark Middle School and Nathan Hale Middle School students the opportunity to watch UNO students’ performances and further their learning in chamber music. P-16 Project. Description : Students identify, operationalize, and provide tutorials for software that addresses the challenge(s) or need(s) provided by the partner organization (client). Once they fully understand the needs of the client, students research software options to present to the client. Description : The students will need to engage in the following interactions with the job incumbents and their supervisors in the Community Agency ABC. 1. Interview the 1-2 job incumbent(s) 2. administer a 15-min survey to the 1-2 job incumbent(s) and their supervisor. The survey includes task inventory and associated knowledge and skills established based on interviews and literature. The final deliverables include: 1. Detailed job analysis report (I attached a sample job analysis report conducted by previous graduate students) 2. Well-designed performance appraisal system tailored to the job analyzed Job analysis and performance appraisal presentation to provide practical recommendations Students were organized into 3 groups to analyze a total of 3 types of jobs.
