Description : For this project Barbara Robins presented on the innovative and regionally focused chapter for UNO in-house rhetoric textbook which integrates Native American perspectives and enriches student's engagement with writing and the program overall. This presentation was a part of the Conference on College Composition and Communication.

Description : Barbara Robins presented the opening plenary session for the ASAIL conference. Each presenter discussed an aspect of the Native American unit published in our Heartlands textbook for first-year writing. The presentation included motivation and justification for the unit, planning and implementation, assignments, and classroom experiences.
